The Chicago New Media Summit, CNMS08, is dedicated to pioneering Chicago as The New Media Capital. With the excitement of the Olympic bid, and Chicago's rich history in technology, advertising, theater, music, television, and film, the time is ripe to shine a global spotlight on our city and to take a leadership role in the digital age.  The Summit is an annual event that forwards an ongoing movement.

The first annual Chicago New Media Summit Event will take place on September 15th and 16th and will unite Chicago's most innovative and influential individuals leaders with two days of talks, presentations and performances with inspiring new ideas about technology, entertainment, advertising, activism, and more.
